Please complete page 2 of this memo and return it to school ASAP. The administration has requested we get these into the office, hopefully, by the end of this week. I have only had a couple come back from home so far. Thank you for your cooperation on this.
I check Reading Logs every Wednesday morning after homeroom period.
Students were given their Tic-Tac-Toe assignment for their Sound Unit project a few weeks ago. Most students did their presentations this week. I am hoping the handfull of students left will be ready to present on Wednesday of next week since the school Olympics are scheduled fro Monday and Tuesday of next week.
We have finished the data management unit and have now started Chapter 6 which is the Multiplication and Division unit. Students are reminded to continue studying ther times tables! We will quiz the 7 times tables late next week!
Students finished making their "La Famille" mini-flashcards for this unit. They were asked to put them in the book bags to take home and practice them.
For tomorrow, February 23 only, there will be no Beginner Strings. Ms. Tuttle is having a full practice with the Elementary Strings at this time. Ms. Tuttle asked me to remind students who are in strings that there is a practice every Monday at lunch, and every Day 5 in the first half of period 4. She said students in my class have not been bringing their violins consistently since the Christmas break.
Recorders: Some of the 4M students are forgetting their recorder lately for Music classes. Could students make sure they are in their book bags. Thanks.
Students are reminded to have their snow pants in school and to be dressed for outside Gym classes on days that the weather is nice.
Students are asked to arrange their ride home for after school prior to school on Thursdays. Full band practices have started on Thursdays after school and every Day 7 in period 2. Ms. Tuttle has asked me to remind students to make sure their instruments are in school for these practices.
On the announcements we were told that there will be a 3-On-3 hockey tournament at the school on Saturday, February 24th. The cost per player will be $10.00. Teams of three can enter.
